Baripada: Mayurbhanj Superintendent of Police Khilari Rishikesh Dnyandeo launched the Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) Project at the district police headquarters here today.
iRAD Mobile/Web Application, an initiative of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India is a central accident database management system that will help in analyzing causes of crashes and in devising safety interventions to reduce such accidents.
The purpose of iRAD is onsite collection of accident data from concerned police stations, RTOs, hospitals.
The launching was attended by Nodal Officer for Mayurbhanj district DSP Somanath Jena, Betanoti IIC Renubala Sahoo and other officials.
