Bhubaneswar: An ITI student was found hanging in her rented accommodation under Chandrasekharpur police station area in Bhubaneswar, on Thursday.
According to reports, the deceased is a differently-abled girl, a resident of Rayagada.
Her family members have, meanwhile, alleged that a young man was harassing her and had threatened to marry her against her will. They held him responsible for her death.
The mother of the deceased student has lodged a complaint with the police, stating that the accused youth had been pressuring her daughter to marry him.
Chandrasekharpur retrieved the body and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
