Bhadrak: A student of Purna Chandra ITI College at Tihidi in Bhadrak district allegedly attempted suicide after being allegedly ragged by his seniors.
Reportedly, Asutosh Mallick, a first-year Electrical student, consumed poison at home after returning from college on Friday.
He was first rushed to Tihidi Community Health Centre from where he was shifted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital and later referred to the SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.
