Cuttack: Madhupatna Police on Monday recovered the body of an ITI student from his hostel room at Nuagauda Sahi near Cuttack Press Square.
The deceased has been identified as Sandip Kumar Muduli, a resident of Koria village under Kudanagari police limits in Kendrapra district.
Acting on a tip-off, police rushed to the spot and recovered the hanging body. Police sent the body to SCB Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
Sandip was a first-year student of Khapuria-based ITI. However, police are yet to ascertain under which condition he took the extreme step.
