**Paradip**: Police interrogated two officials of Odisha Stevedores Ltd (OSL), owned by Mahimananda Mishra aka Mahima Mishra over missing of Niranjan Padhi, a staff of J M Baxi firm, since 2015.
J M Baxi firm, another Paradip-based stevedoring company, had a business rivalry with Mishra’s OSL.
According to reports, the cops are questioning OSL Assistant General Manager (AGM) Santosh Kumar Patel and Deputy General Manager (DGM-Operation) Mir Abdul Ali.
The interrogation began at 11 am and was still on by the time of filing this report.
Niranjan Padhi, who is still missing, was working as a supervisor of J M Baxi and had received threats from OSL staff.
Besides, the cops also summoned two officials of J M Boxi – GM Sanjay Kumar Nayak and DGM Captain Amrinder Mishra in this connection.
It may be recalled here that Mishra is currently lodged in jail after he was arrested from Bangkok in Thailand last year in the Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) General Manager Mahendra Swain’s murder case.
On October 26 last year, Swain was shot to death near Ambedkar Bhawan at Madhuban Colony here in the port town.
