Bhubaneswar: Jagmohan Meena, a 2013-batch IPS officer, has taken charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Bhubaneswar. Meena succeeds Pinak Mishra as the DCP of the capital city.
Addressing a press conference after assuming office, Meena emphasized the importance of swift investigation and prompt arrest of the accused. He also assured that the police department will be sensitive to the needs of the common people.
Meena outlined several key priorities, including enhanced CCTV surveillance, strengthening the cybercrime unit to tackle the growing threat of online crimes, and improved traffic management to alleviate traffic congestion in the city.
Meena also stressed the importance of using new technologies to aid in crime detection and prevention.
