Jajpur: Jajpur police on Sunday recovered the severed head of an unidentified child from Radhanagar village of Laxminagar panchayat under Jajpur Road police limits in Odisha’s Jajpur district.
In a horrific incident, some residents of Radhanagar on Saturday night spotted a dog eating the severed head of a child in the backyard of a villager. They immediately shooed away the dog and informed the police about the incident.
Jajpur police reached the spot on Sunday morning and recovered the severed head. While the identity of the child is yet to be ascertained, police have launched an investigation into the incident.
