‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ Of Congress Against Demonetisation On Nov 28

**Bhubaneswar:** Protesting against the demonetisation move made by the Modi Government, Congress has decided to launch a ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ across the State on November 28.

The information was given by the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan at the Congress Bhavan here on Thursday.

Briefing media, Harichandan informed, “On November 28, we have decided to launch a ‘Jana Akrosha Rally’ in all blocks and districts of Odisha as a mark of protest against the Centre’s decision of demonetisation,”

“The decision taken by Modi has come up as a big scam. The Rs 8 lakh crore bad debt taken by industrialists across the country is yet to be recovered. Modi Government has so far waived Rs 1 lakh crore for the industrialists but why there is no such steps taken for the farmers who are committing suicides as they are unable to pay their loan?,” he fumed.

Stating that till now 60 people have died standing in the queues to get their money from banks, he questioned, “What has the Government done for them?

On the other hand, Odisha BJP-in-charge Arun Singh, said, “Every year around Rs 70 crore fake currencies entered India. Around Rs 400 crore was misappropriated by the ISI. Does Congress want to stand with the corrupt, terrorists and drug mafia?”
