**Bhubaneswar:** At least 6,304 students from Odisha will appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 on Sunday. Lakhs of candidates every appear attempt the exam, which forms the basis of admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs.
The national level engineering entrance exam conducted for admissions into 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will be held across the country.
In Odisha, four test centres have been set up in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Berhampur. Students are directed to report the examination centres from 7.30 AM onwards.
This year, the examination will be computer-based spanning across two shifts. The Paper-I will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon and Paper-II will start from 2 PM and continue till 5 PM. IIT is a dream for many. Preparation for the exam goes on for months and complete dedication, willpower and determination is what helps an aspirant clear the exam with flying colors.
Over 2.31 lakh candidates were shortlisted in the JEE Mains to appear for the JEE Advanced, including 6,304 students from Odisha.
The entrance results will be declared on Sunday, June 10 at 10:00 am.
