Bhubaneswar: The JEE Main 2020 examination is about to begin in a few hours today and conducting body, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a few guidelines for the test takers.
NTA advises students to go through their admit cards in detail and if possible visit the examination centre a day ahead to become familiar with the location. On the day of the test, they have been asked to reach their respective centres at least two hours before the test commences.
With them they are only allowed to take their admit card, One Passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the Online Application Form), a valid photo id proof in original, and PwD certificate (if applicable). Pen/pencil and blank paper for rough work will be provided to the students inside the exam hall for the computer-based test.
Among the things that are not allowed are- any kind of electronic items, Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, wallet, purse or bags of any kind, packaged or cooked food items, water (loose or packaged)
The JEE Main 2020 exams will end on January 9 and are being held simultaneously in 233 cities across nation. In Odisha, it is being held in 7 centres including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, and Rourkela.
