I would like to reiterate the request that Government of India may consider naming the Jharsuguda Airport as ‘Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda’, which would be a befitting tribute to the legendary son of the soil,” mentions the Chief Minister in his letter.

The Odisha CM has also mentioned, “I am glad that the development of Jharsuguda Airport has been completed and it will be formally inaugurated and dedicated to the nation on 22nd September, 2018. I am thankful for your invitation to the grace the occasion, which I heartily accept.”
