Jharsuguda: The District Library welcomes requests from aspirants and the authorities are committed to fulfilling them within seven days. If an aspirant specifically requests books for the exam they are preparing for, the library will provide them.
This was confirmed by the District Magistrate (DM) of Jharsuguda, Aboli Sunil Naravane.
“Our main goal is to create a space where aspirants can study and benefit. We are happy that they are coming here and using the library effectively for their studies. We will also improve the Wi-Fi service to meet the needs of those attending online classes. Whatever the aspirants require, we will do our best to provide it within seven days,” said the District Magistrate.
She also encouraged all aspirants who study at the Jharsuguda library to share the details of the exams they are preparing for. If any specific exam books are needed, the library will make sure to provide them as well.
Social worker Ratnakara Pradhan shared his thoughts on the growth of Jharsuguda, highlighting the district’s importance due to major projects like Mega Steel, Aluminium, and Power plants.
He noted that education was not a priority in the past, but now, thanks to the efforts of the District Collector, Jharsuguda is steadily improving in the education sector.
“As we can see, many aspirants are benefiting from the supportive study environment. Over 100 students regularly come to the district library (Sanskruti Bhawan) for their studies. Many are preparing for competitive exams like UPSC, OPSC, and others. They find it difficult to study at home, but here they have a quiet, spacious place to focus,” said social worker Pradhan.
