Bhubaneswar: After a four-day gap, Jharsuguda’s minimum temperature has dipped again, touching 7.2°C today, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
This is a significant drop from the previous days, with the temperature recording 9.8°C on December 15 and 16.
According to IMD scientist Uma Shankar Das, Jharsuguda’s minimum temperature has seen a fluctuating trend over the past few days. Starting from 7.1°C on December 12, it rose to 9.8°C on December 15 and remained steady on December 16. However, today, the temperature has dipped to 7.2°C, bringing relief to residents who were experiencing warmer mornings earlier this week.
The IMD has reported that Jharsuguda is experiencing cold weather conditions, with temperatures expected to remain low in the coming days.
