Bhubaneswar: Amid the ongoing investigation into the murder of Minister Naba Kisore Das, the State Government on Tuesday effected a reshuffle in the IPS cadre.
As per reports, Jharsuguda SP Rahul Jain has been removed from the post and attached to the State Police Headquarters.
Bargarh SP Smit Parmar has been posted as SP, Jharsuguda.
Similarly, Boudh SP Prahalad Meena has been transferred to Bargarh and Additional SP Rayagada Raj Prasad was posted as SP Boudh.
Similarly, the SDPO of Brajrajnagar Gupteswar Bhoi has also been shunted and attached to Police Headquarters. He was replaced by Athmallik SDPO Chintamani Pradhan.
