Jindal Group To Set Up A Hospital In Jajpur

**Bhubaneswar: ** Dr Chander Bhasin, the Executive Director and COO of Jindal Institute of Medical Sciences has proposed to set up a hospital in Jajpur. There are around 5000 employees of JSL (Jindal Stainless Limited) working there. The villagers along with the employees of Jindal Group would be able to avail the facilities of the hospital. The management would provide treatment at subsidized rates.

“The government will only provide the required land to them and they would set up a hospital there.They will visit a few places before zeroing in a land for the particular cause.A school will also be set up with it,” said Debi Mishra, Industries Minister, Odisha.

Initially, the hospital will accommodate a capacity of 100 beds, then gradually add a trauma centre, and ranging from doctors to equipments, they will manage every aspect of the hospital. Different departments will gradually be enhanced and there will also be super-specialization as they are presently doing in Hisar, Haryana
