J&K Terror Attack: L Eshwar Rao Creates Miniature ‘Saheed Stambh’ To Honor CRPF Jawans

**Bhubaneswar:** In view of the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed 49 lives on February 14, Jatni-based artist L Eshwar Rao has created miniature sculpture of a Saheed Stambh (martyrs’ pillar) to pay homage to the martyrs.

With the caption ‘Veer Jawan Amar Rahe’, Rao has fitted the sculpture in a glass bottle and has strewn flowers around it. His creation comes at a time when the bodies of two Odia martyrs, Manoj Behera of Cuttack and Prasanna Sahoo of Jagatsinghpur, were flown from Jammu and Kashmir to their homeland.

On February 14 at around 3.15 p.m, a ‘Fidayeen’ bomber belonging to the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF troopers in Lethpora area of Pulwama. The attack claimed 49 lives and stunned the nation.
