Bhubaneswar: Retired Judge of Orissa High Court Justice Pramath Patnaik has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Odisha Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (OREAT).
A notification issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department stated that the State Government has appointed Justice Pramath Patnaik (Retired Judge) as the Chairperson of the Odisha Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (OREAT) with effect from the date on which he assumes the office after completion of the tenure of the incumbent Chairperson of OREAT on June 30.
The appointment has been done by the Department in exercise of the powers conferred by section 45 and in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Orissa, as required under sub-section (2) of section 46 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
