Kalahandi: Mystery shrouds the death of the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Water Resources Department, Mukhiguda, Jaipatna block of Odisha’s Kalahandi district. His body was found in an inexplicable condition in his official residence on Friday.
The deceased SDO has been identified as Ranjit Kumar Karji, a resident of Parlakhmundi, Rayagada district.
On being informed, Jaipatna police reached the spot, recovered the SDO’s body, and sent it for autopsy at Jaipatna Hospital. The police have launched an investigation to ascertain what led to the SDO’s death.
