Mayurbhanj: Odisha Vigilance sleuths are currently carrying out simultaneous raids on the properties of Karanjia tehsildar Charles Nayak on Monday on allegations of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
Simultaneous raids are underway at his office, his government quarters in Karanjia, and his ancestral home in Bhadrak. The raids are being conducted by Vigilance Department officials from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar vigilance cells.
The valuation of the properties recovered from the possession of Nayak is yet to be done. The raids were underway till the filing of the last report and further details are awaited.
