Bhubaneswar:  A 25-year-old youth from Karnataka was apprehended by Puri police for flying a drone over the 12th-century Shree Jagannath Temple, violating the no-fly zone. Abhyudaya Sinha was caught near the North Gate of the temple, and the drone was seized.

The police had received information about the drone activity and tracked its movement, leading to Sinha’s arrest. The area around the temple is a restricted zone, and drone flights are strictly prohibited for security reasons.

A case has been registered at Singhadwar police station, and an investigation is underway. The Puri police are vigilant about such activities, ensuring the security of the temple and its devotees.
