Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run three pairs of non-reserved special passenger trains from Berhampur and Cuttak to Puri on the occasion of Kartika Purnima. The decision has been taken in view of the surge of devotees to Jagannath Temple on Sunday and Monday.
The Ecor will run a special train from Brahmapur to Puri (08464/08463) which will depart from Berhampur on Sunday at 8.40 pm and reach Puri at 11.45 pm. On the return journey, the train will leave Puri at 5.30 am on Monday and arrive at Berhampur at 8.35 am. The train will stop at all stations and passenger halts between Berhampur and Puri and ply on the Arugul-Haripur village route instead of Khurda Road.
The Cuttack -Puri-Cuttack special passenger train (08465/08466) will leave Cuttack on Sunday at 11.30 pm and reach Puri at 1.30 pm. On its return journey, the train will depart from Puri at 9.30 am on Monday and reach Cuttack at 11.30 am. The train will stop at all stations and passenger halts between Cuttack and Puri.
The Puri-Berhampur special train (08481) will depart from Puri at 6.30 pm on Monday and reach Berhampur at 9.39 pm. It will have stoppages at all stations and passenger halts between Berhampur and Puri and ply on the Arugul-Haripur village route instead of Khurda Road.
