Keep Your Fighting Spirit Up, Says Odisha CM To Indian Hockey Eves

Bhubaneswar: Though India’s dream of a bronze medal by the women’s hockey team at the Tokyo Olympics came crashing down, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asked them to keep their fighting spirit up.

Taking to Twitter, Patnaik said, “Congratulate Indian Women’s Hockey Team for putting up a brave fight against Great Britain at #Tokyo2020. Keep your fighting spirit up and keep inspiring. Wish you all the very best for future.”

The Chief Minister also spoke to the Indian women’s hockey team through video call and congratulated them for putting up a brave fight against Britain.

India lost 4-3 to Great Britain in a playoff for the bronze at the Tokyo Olympics on Friday.
