Kendrapara Mother-Daughter Death: Villagers Refuse To Cremate Girl Till Accused Held

Kendrapara: Even days after the death of Pramila Nath and her daughter of Manapada village under Rajnagar police limits in Kendrapara, the body of the girl is still lying unattended in front of her uncle’s house as the villagers refuse to cremate her till the accused are arrested.

Reportedly, Pramila had gone missing a few days back and her cell phone and sandals were later found lying near the bank of Hansua river. A report in this regard had been lodged by her daughter at Rajnagar Police Station.

However, on the next day, the girl’s body was found from a pond in the backyard of her maternal uncle’s house. Later that night, her mother’s body was found floating in Hansua river near Gobardhanpur. Subsequently, Pramila’s husband Patitapaban Nath filed a case in Rajnagar Police Station alleging murder of his wife and daughter.
