Bhubaneswar: Kharvelnagar police have registered a case under five sections 341, 294, 323, 506, and 34 of IPC based on the complaint filed by Ollywood actor Prakruti Mishra’s mother Krushnapriya Mishra, informed Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh.
The DCP said that the complainant has alleged that while her daughter Prakruti Mishra was going to her work some people had allegedly stopped her vehicle and assaulted her both mentally and physically.
“We have started an investigation on the basis of the complaint filed by the complainant. We will take action against the accused persons on the basis of evidence gathered,” the DCP said.
He informed that the police have gone to the spot and will work on the basis of evidence available and avoided revealing further details.
Ollywood actor Babushaan Mohanty’s wife Trupti Satapathy intercepted the car in which the former was travelling with co-actress Prakruti Mishra and attacked her. She accused Prakruti Mishra of ruining their family.
Clarifying the issue, a woman who claimed to be the maternal aunt of Trupti told reporters that her niece Trupti as a wife confronted her husband Babushaan and slapped her.
She alleged that Prakruti Mishra who was with Babushaan interfered which irritated Trupti and she slapped her.
Meanwhile, Babushaan’s mother Ollywood actor Aparajita Mohanty and her daughter-in-law Trupti accompanied by Trupti’s aunt have arrived at the Kharvelnagar police station.
Kharvelnagar IIC Arun Kumar Swain has informed that a total of two complaints have been lodged.
Swain said that the second case has been lodged by Trupti in the evening and a lady police officer has recorded her statement. He, however, refused to disclose details as against whom Trupti has lodged the case, etc.
