Khasapada Lagi Niti: Darshan At Puri Jagannath Temple To Remain Shut For 4 Hrs Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced a temporary suspension of darshan of the Holy Trinity at the Puri Jagannath Temple for four hours tomorrow (July 28) on the occasion of the ritual ‘Khasapada Lagi.’

The sacred ceremony of Khasapada Lagi involving Lord Jagannath and His divine siblings is scheduled to be performed on Shraavan Shukla Chaturthi Tithi during the month of Shravan. As a result, devotees will not be permitted to have darshan from 6 pm to 10 pm following the completion of the Second Bhog Mandap offering ritual.

During this time, entry to the sanctum sanctorum will be restricted and devotees will be unable to view the deities.

The darshan will resume after the conclusion of the Khasapada Lagi Niti, allowing devotees to have darshan during the night hours.

Devotees are requested to plan their visits accordingly and cooperate with temple authorities during this period.
