Nayagarh: The Town police here have rescued a young woman who was kidnapped by three unidentified miscreants. The girl was kidnapped when she was on her way back home from the local market. The incident took place in Sinduria under Nayagarh Town police limits.
The accused were traced following a manhunt which was launched basing on CCTV footages. They were identified as Jamir Khan of Dharamkot in Ganjam, Sukant Routray of Gosani Nuagaon, and Dinesh Bindhani of Paramanandapur in Kalahandi district.
The miscreants were armed and forced the girl to accompany them in a car on the fateful day, the police said. The exact reason behind the kidnapping is being ascertained while the accused have been booked under multiple Sections of the IPC including kidnapping.
