Koraput Minor Gangrape: Three Detainees Released, One Still Being Interrogated
**Koraput**: In an incident of twists and turns, the police have released 3 of the allegedly accused detainees. However, the interrogation of the fourth person is still in progress. The victim had earlier refused to admit that the the four persons detained by the police on Monday are in any way involved in the case, even claiming them to be her relatives.
This incident of gangrape of a Class IX student allegedly by uniformed men last week in Kunduli village of Koraput has created a furore in the State.
Odisha police has formed several teams to crack down this case. Meanwhile, the Congress and the Maoists went for a bandh in the area to protest against the heinous crime.
The people of Koraput also showed their support for the victim in her fight for justice making the bandh a success.
Further, the Odisha Congress has started a two-day long foot march in the district to intensify its pressure on the government to act tough in this case.
