Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Dr Krishan Kumar was relieved from the State Government to join as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry for a tenure of five years.
Kumar, a 2002-batch IAS officer, was holding the posts of Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Works Department, Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration and Chairman, Puri-Konark Development Authority.
The State Government, in an order issued on Friday stated that 1996-batch IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav will hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Works Department.
Yadav, a 1996-batch IAS officer holds the posts of Principal Secretary, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, Principal Secretary Cooperation Department, Member Secretary, Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes, Chairman OSWC, and Commissioner, Trade Promotion and Investment, office of Chief Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
