Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal delivered an inspiring speech during the valedictory ceremony of Krushi Odisha 2023, highlighting the importance of the state’s farmers and their connection to Lord Jagannath.
The event, which was held on the Biju Patnaik Play Ground at Baramunda in Bhubaneswar, celebrated the agricultural achievements of the state and showcased new technologies and innovations in the farming sector.
In his speech, Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal emphasized the significance of the state’s farmers, considering them the direct descendants and messengers of Lord Jagannath.
He praised the efforts of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who has implemented the KALIA scheme to support and uplift the state’s farmers.
He stated that the Chief Minister’s efforts to worship the children of Kalia (pet name of Lord Jagannath) deserve to be congratulated.
The Governor also stressed that Make in Odisha means Made for India and Make in India means Made for the World.
Farmers of Odisha stand not just for the state, but for the entire world, as they work on the land of Lord Jagannath. With the continued support of the state government, the farmers of Odisha can continue to thrive and contribute to the growth and development of the state and the nation.
