Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, ‘Kumki’ elephant Yashoda succumbed to her ailments at Chandaka Forest Range , RCCF Prakash Chand Gogineni informed. Yashoday was 36 years old and undergoing treatment for the last few days.
The loss of this majestic creature is being mourned by wildlife enthusiasts and the local community.
Yashoda was used to tranquilize the tigress Sundari in the Satkosia forest in Angul district in 2018.
