**Koraput:** As the alleged suicide of Kunduli gangrape victim shook the State on Tuesday, there was tension at Kunduli Community Health Centre (CHC). The kin of the victim detained the body not allowing the doctors to conduct post-mortem.
The irate locals took the dead body of the minor girl from the hospital and staged road blockade on NH-26 with the dead body demanding justice.
Reports say that the body was taken on stretcher to NH-26, where they protested demanding strict action against the accused persons.
Many Congress leaders including former Nabarangpur MP Pradip Majhi joined the protest with the locals insisting on swift action.
Meanwhile, the BJP has called for 12-hr bandh in undivided Koraput district demanding a CBI probe into the incident.
Notably, a mystery shrouded over the alleged gangrape of the tribal minor school girl of Kunduli in October last year. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik had ordered a judicial probe into the incident.
The kin of the victims allege that the girl was denied justice which resulted in this extreme step taken by her.
