Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo on Friday congratulated Jay Dholakia on his emphatic victory in the Nuapada by-election, describing the outcome as a decisive endorsement of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s vision for development in the state.
In a post on X, Singh Deo said the bypoll verdict was not only a political win for the BJP but a “victory of the people of Nuapada,” who have reposed their trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
He expressed “immense pride and heartfelt gratitude,” acknowledging the efforts of BJP karyakartas who worked “tirelessly day and night” during the campaign. Singh Deo also thanked the voters of Nuapada for their support, calling the moment “historic.”
Commending BJP State President Manmohan Samal for his leadership, the Deputy Chief Minister said the party in Odisha is moving ahead on a renewed path of “progress, prosperity, and people’s trust.”
“Together, we shall honor this mandate with unwavering commitment to development, transparency, and the people’s aspirations,” he added.
