Bhubaneswar: A female doctor was found dead in her home at Daraghabazar in Cuttack on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Alaka Rath.
According to reports, the doctor had been living with her family and suffering from mental distress for a long time. The doctor’s family members found her hanging on Friday morning and immediately informed the police.
Upon being informed, Daraghabazar police initiated an investigation into the incident and recovered the doctor’s body. Meanwhile, the doctor’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
Police may seek the assistance of a scientific team to unravel the mystery behind the doctor’s death.
