Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a lady was found hanging in her rented house in Arobinda Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Buguda police station in Ganjam district, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Rashmita Behera from Sorana village in Khordha district, working as an employee at the Buguda post office.
According to reports, Rasmita’s house was locked from the inside for a long time, and after the house owner called her multiple times without receiving a response, he became suspicious and informed the police.
The police broke open the door of Rashmita’s house upon arrival and found her hanging from the ceiling fan.
After recovering the body, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
