Landmine Blasts Kill 2 Villagers Including Woman, Injures One In Odisha-Chhattisgarh Border

**Bhubaneswar:** Two villagers including a woman were killed and one woman sustained critical injuries in Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasts reportedly triggered by Maoists in Sukma district along Odisha-Chhattisgarh border.

Talking to OMMCOM NEWS, Sukma SP Abhisek Meena informed, “A landmine blast occurred on 14th of this month nearly 18 kms away in which two villagers got killed. We got to know about it yesterday. But there was another landmine blast that day in Burkapal in which a woman got injured. Our jawans camping nearby successfully evacuated her and she is undergoing treatment in hospital. Meanwhile, three IEDs have been recovered from that area.”
