Bhubaneswar: Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan intervened in a suspected murder case in Khurdha district after meeting the victim’s family who resorted to a road blockade demanding justice.
The Minister directed the local police to launch a thorough investigation and nab the culprits. The family members and neighbours withdrew the stir following Minister’s intervention.
Maga Subudhi, a youth from Hatabaradiha village, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Family members, suspecting foul play, blocked the National Highway. The incident triggered tension due to traffic congestion.
Harichandan, representing Chilika Assembly constituency, directed police to take immediate action and arrest the accused within 24 hours.
On his X post, he stated, ” I have directed local police to take immediate action and arrest accused within 24 hours in Maga Subudhi’s suspicious death case.”
