Bhubaneswar: A friendly football tournament was held at the Odisha Football Academy, organized by Tata Steel. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, Pravati Parida, congratulated the winning team, ‘Leaders’ XI’, and runners-up, ‘Officers’ XI’.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, and other dignitaries, including Ministers, MLAs, bureaucrats, and media personnel, attended the event. Deputy Chief Minister Parida expressed her delight while watching the exciting tournament and interacted with government officials, media, and Tata Steel employees.
Emphasising the importance of unity and brotherhood, Parida stated that the tournament would foster cooperation and collaboration among government officials, media, and corporate employees in building a prosperous Odisha. She hoped that the event would inspire them to work together.
Notably, Tata Steel has been organizing friendly football tournaments annually at the Odisha Football Academy to promote camaraderie and teamwork among participants.
