Bhubaneswar: In yet another instance of man-animal conflict, a leopard was found dead in the Bheem Mandal jungle under the Rairakhol forest division in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, local villagers spotted the carcass of the leopard lying inside the forest when they went there to collect forest products.
On being informed, Forest Department officials rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The age of the big cat and the exact reason behind its death are yet to be ascertained.
