Leopard Carcass Recovered In Odisha’s Angul

Angul: A leopard’s carcass was recovered from Jadupur area under Athamallik Forest Range here late last night. While the exact reason behind the animal’s death is yet to be ascertained, forest officials have already conducted a post-mortem and have buried the carcass.


As soon as the incident came to light last night, Regional Chief Conservator of Forests (RCCF) and Divisional Forest Officer reached the spot and took the body for post-mortem. The animal is suspected to be 3-4 years old. Following that, the carcass was buried.

Officials informed that the reason behind death will be ascertained after receiving the autopsy report.
