Berhampur: A leopard suffered serious injuries after being struck by a speeding car. This was Tuesday’s incident that happened in the wee hours of the morning.
The mishap occurred close to Mujagad village in Bhanjanagar’s Ghumsur North Division forest tract.
The spot was visited by personnel from the forest department. The leopard, however, passed away from the severe wounds while receiving medical attention.
The leopard, according to reports, was about three years old.
