Baripada: A joint team of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) and forest officials of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar district have seized a leopard skin following a raid near Jashipur old bus stand area in Mayurbhanj district.
Reportedly, two persons from Harichandanpur in Keonjhar district had come to sell the leopard skin. A car bearing registration number OD11J0294 was also seized from their possession.
A total of seven people involved in the smuggling of the leopard skin have been apprehended. As per the last reports, all of them were being interrogated at Dudhiani Range Office.
