Keonjhar: A senior official of the LIC was killed in a road accident at Darakhala ghat here on Sunday The deceased, Narayan Chandra Mallick was the branch manager of LIC in Keonjhar.
According to reports, today morning, Mallick was going to attend a meeting at Anandpur. Midway at Darakhala ghat, the senior official lost control on the wheels following which the car overturned.
Mallick was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Police have registered a case in this connection and informed the family of the deceased about the tragedy.
