Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the State in the next 24 hours, according to the latest weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weatherman has issued a yellow warning indicating thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda during the same period.
The IMD in its forecast for Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood for the next 24 hours has said that the sky will be partly cloudy with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm and the maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 39°C and 25°C respectively.
On day 2, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Further, the IMD has issued a yellow warning indicating thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Kandhamal, Gajapati, and Ganjam.
On day 3, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
As thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Angul, and Dhenkanal, the IMD has issued a yellow warning.
On day 4, light to moderate rain and thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
On day 5, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of districts of Odisha.
