Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin issued by India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Further, IMD has issued a yellow warning indicating that thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj during the same period.
In its forecast for Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the sky will be mainly clear becoming partly cloudy towards afternoon or evening while maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 37°C and 25°C respectively.
On day 2, the IMD has forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Similarly, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on day 3, the IMD said.
The IMD has issued a yellow warning predicting thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj on day 3.
According to the IMD, on day 4, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
