Light Rain With Thunderstorms Likely To Hit Three Districts In Next Three Hours: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Three districts are likely to witness light to moderate thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph in the next three hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per nowcast warning issued by the weather department at 2.40pm, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Sundargarh districts are going to be affected by the weather conditions.

The weather department has advised residents to stay indoors and avoid travelling during the storm. It has asked the residents to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
