Additionally, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms with lightning, which are very likely to occur in one or two places across these districts.

On March 20, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in one or two places across the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Jajpur. Dry conditions are likely to persist in other parts of Odisha.

Similarly, on March 21, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are predicted at one or two places in the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, and Sambalpur, with dry weather expected to continue in the rest of the state.

The IMD also indicated that there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures (daytime temperatures) over the next 3-4 days, but a decrease of 2-4°C is expected thereafter.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures (nighttime temperatures) are predicted to remain stable over the next five days in the districts of Odisha.
