Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has predicted light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speeds reaching 30- 40 kmph, lightning and light to moderate in some parts of Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), and Khurdha (including Bhubaneswar city) by 5.00 pm on Monday.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places protect themselves from lightning strikes.
