Balasore: Locals locked the Covid Vaccination Centre set up at the Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) in Sunhat of Balasore district after they were deprived of the vaccine on Saturday.
Reportedly, 4,050 vaccine doses were to be administered at 30 centers in Balasore district today.
While the district administration had yesterday evening announced that there will be no more offline registration for the vaccine and all have to register on the Co-win portal, people had queued up for vaccination this morning without registering online.
As the UPHC authorities informed it after hours of waiting, the people protested it and subsequently locked the vaccination centre.
