Balangir: The vehicle of Loisingha MLA Mukesh Mahaling was attacked by some unidentified persons on National Highway 26 at Burda Chhak on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the MLA was returning from Badibahal to his home when two youths had blocked the road with their bikes and were involved in a fight.
When the personal security officer (PSO) of Mahaling asked them to clear the way, they attacked the PSO and the driver. They also pelted stones at the vehicle.
Mahaling, who was in the back seat of the vehicle did not receive any injury, while the driver and PSO were injured in the attack and admitted to Loisingha hospital.
