Bhubaneswar: Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla today arrived in Bhubaneswar to attend function at a private University.
He was welcomed by Odisha Governor Raghubar Das at the Raj Bhawan. Chief Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida.
“Had a wonderful courtesy meeting with Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, Shri Ommn Birla ji, at the Governor House today. It was an enriching interaction focused on strengthening democratic values and fostering cooperation,” Majhi wrote on X.
“We had a very enlightening discussion about strengthening democracy and encouraging cooperation,” Deputy Chief Minister Pravati said.
Deputy CM KV Singh Deo said “Our discussions were both insightful and forward-thinking, centering on key initiatives for the advancement of our state. Grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such distinguished leaders.”
